I haven't heard this album since about 1990 and what a treat! I did get to see Spider John in a very small groupsetting a few years back and that was a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with the legend himself! The cut entitled "Rent Party Rag" is an amazing account of an event very few of us will ever take part in, but his song takes the listener right to it. A true joy to listen to this amazing legend of the Blues!
