This book is so fun! I had seen Simone's artwork for it online a while back but was waiting for the story to be collected into a volume. Worth the wait!!Fantasy meets scifi like john carter x conan x norse john wick in this viking inspired, beat em up adventure! The cartoon style is a perfect fit for the story and dialogue - doesn't take itself too seriously, shows what's necessary, packed with humor, and has unique stylistic flair that delivers dividends in entertainment.I know it was a slow process, but a lot of good things come that way. I hope this isn't the last we sed of Hrolf and the crew. Fantastic work!Also this book has a few back content extras worth noting - a couple bonus short stories, cover illos, and fanart from some killer industry names.
